There are many ways you can get involved as a volunteer at the Chester County SPCA. We are always looking for people to assist in our animal training program "Fur Star." However, there are many opportunities in administrative work, fundraising/special events, photography, foster care, team-building activities with our Junior Volunteer Corp, and much much more! Please refer to the Volunteer page on our website for an updated list of volunteer opportunities.

Each volunteer job has specific requirements: some require a valid drivers license, age restrictions, or a certain amount of experience in that particular field.

Our youngest volunteers are eligible to participate in our JUNIOR Volunteer Corp (ages 10-15 years old), while individuals 16 years or older can participate in a variety of administrative and fundraising opportunities. *To work hands-on with our animals, in any capacity, you MUST BE 18 years or older.

All volunteers MUST be covered by a current medical insurance policy, and provide proof (or have their parent/guardian provide proof) of this insurance.
