WHY NOT VOLUNTEER AT CALCUTTA HOUSE?!!
From 1986 to 1991 Calcutta House was founded and operated by the compassionate hearts of volunteers, and we still depend on them.
We are a nonprofit, nondenominational, personal care home for persons w/AIDS located in North Central Philadelphia just 2 blocks West of Broad Street.
Our Social Service Department is in need of clerical support. Duties will include filing, shredding, data entry and light typing of important and confidential documents, resource research, and phone calls
This is a wonderful opportunity for a junior or senior level student who is working toward a degree in urban studies, public health administration or social work specifically in the nonprofit sector.
