Recognizing that the criminal justice system can be very frightening and overwhelming to older victims of crime, State of Delaware Attorney General offers the Senior Victim Advocate Program. This program offers support and guidance to older victims through the criminal justice process. As a Senior Victim Advocate, you would be the guide and support through this difficult time. You would become a member of the Victim Witness team and work closely with the Social Workers and Prosecutors of the cases. Training is offered at least once a year, volunteers are always needed. Volunteers would have to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting. As a peer advocate volunteers must be at least 55 years old.
