The Center Foundation is looking for compassionate individuals to serve as mentors in either of our two mentoring programs: WomenCare for women in transition, and the Young Parents Support Network (YPSN) for teen parents. Mentors commit to meeting weekly with program "Partners" or "mentees" over the course of a year, serving as friend, advocate, coach, and listener. Mentors and Partners have the opportunity to attend various creative and skill building workshops as well as fun community events. Mentoring builds friendships and inspires positive change in the lives of individuals and within communities. The Center Foundation serves individuals living in Delaware County, PA and surrounding communities. Mentors must be at least 19 years old. Initial orientation and training sessions take place several times a year. Mentors should plan to meet weekly with their mentee or partner over the course of at least one year. This opportunity is sponsored by: The Center Foundation
