It is the mission of Foss Home and Village to provide excellent, cost effective health care services within a Christian environment. With dignity and respect, care is provided by a qualified, kind and loving staff. Our purpose is to promote life in the fullest possible sense for each person.
Description:
We are a non-profit nursing care and assisted living facility with 4 different levels of care: Temporary Care, Dementia Unit, Long Term Nursing Care and Assisted Living. We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. However, our facility is open to and consists of residents, staff and volunteers of a variety of ethnic origins and religions or spiritual beliefs.
History:
Foss Home was founded 73 years ago by Lutheran Bishop L.C. Foss as a place where the elderly needing special care could be ministered to. The full capacity at present is 270 residents.
