"Through responsible management and solid corporate partnerships, Skills, Inc. creates and maintains a stable, rewarding place of work, where persons with disabilities contribute their skills."

Description:
Skills, Inc. is a leading aerospace processing and manufacturing company, with plants in Seattle and Auburn. We partner with companies to fulfill their manufacturing needs, and provide employment for persons with disabilities. We have been a part of the Boeing Community Manufacturing Partnership since 1966.

In addition, our Outreach Division provides on-site and off-site staffing for assembly, fulfillment, soldering, industrial sewing; software and hardware testing; and functionality testing. The Outreach program employs individuals with more significant disabilities, some of whom have barriers to competitive employment. We employ, assess, train, and educate individuals with disabilities throughout Puget Sound, and we also support them in finding and establishing other employment in the community as they are ready.

History:
For the past 40 years, Skills, Inc. has been committed to building strong business partnerships and community relations while empowering and providing employment for persons with disabilities. Skills, Inc. has expanded its capacity and reach and currently has over 200 employees with manufacturing facilities in both Seattle and Auburn.
