We operate four days a week from 10AM-4PM and will be expanding our service offerings soon to five days a week. Our programs include art classes, choir, music appreciation, Karaoke, cooking, exercise, ceramics, power lifting, crafts and bowling. Off hours we offer various sporting events associated with Special Olympics, an exercise program and we periodically take participants on field trips, movies and other events.

Our funding comes from participant fees, schools, individuals, state and local government, philanthropic organizations, fraternal organizations, government grants and local fund raisers..

History:
All Aboard was started about four years ago by Gene Rogoway. Gene has a boy with Down syndrome and when he reached 21 years of age there was nothing for him do except watch TV. Gene set out to give his son as normal of a life as he could have. He contacted other families with similar children and All Aboard was born.

As Gene grew the organization, he became affiliated with ARC of Everett and they assisted Gene in implementing various programs and advertising. He started an art program and hired an instructor and that went well so he started a music program and that was received well. As time went on he added Karaoke, music, choir, bowling and cooking activities. Since Mike, Genes boy liked sports he organized a group for weightlifting and swimming.

The bowling program has grown from 6 to over 80 and we average between 50 to 60 per week. All of the other programs have between 30-80 participants.

All Aboard is now a 501c3, IRS tax exempt organization and is in the process of establishing a Board of Directors. We are adding new and inclusive programs and expanding into King County and expect to have a center open in the first quarter of 2007 With these formalities in place we are able to conduct fund raisers and secure local, state and federal grants.
