Sunrise Senior Living's mission statement is to champion the quality of life for all seniors. This mission is accomplished through our principles of service which include, preserving dignity, encouraging independence, enabling choice, celebrating individuality, nurturing the spirit, and involving family and friends.

Description:
Sunrise of Snohomish is an assisted living and reminiscence community where senior adults are encouraged to live with as much independence as possible, in a home-like environment. We provide a variety of services to the residents in our community. From housekeeping to fun activities we strive to create pleasant days for all. Volunteers would help promote this atmosphere through facilitating groups, hosting coffee socials, or playing games. In addition, we are a very active group of residents who are always eager to learn something new.

History:
Sunrise of Snohomish first started as Hearthside, a Marriot company, 13 years ago. Approximately 3 years ago Sunrise purchased the property. Sunrise is a growing corporation with over 400 communities internationally. Locally, our team members are not strangers to volunteering. We have been involved with the Kiwanis, we serve lunch once a month at the local senior center, we have made small afghans for the animal shelter, participated in the Alzheimers walk and we have partnered with the Snohomish High School Future Farmers of America.
